About the Position:
The ESA Los Angeles office is seeking a Word Processing and Publications/Document Specialist to join our existing Publications team in supporting our growing Southern California region. The successful candidate is able to efficiently create and edit Word style definitions, apply company formatting standards, and find solutions to unfamiliar technical issues and then teach others to apply those solutions. This position is for you if you if you work quickly, have a strong grasp of English grammar, routinely teach yourself new software, and can’t help but explore all of a program’s settings and then use them to make your workflow more efficient. Someone who is able to foster positive relationships within the company is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Apply company format to different types of document through the application of style definitions and boilerplate.
- Create PDF and print copies of documents.
- Read, think, and work quickly.
- Look ahead to see potential problems and address them before getting to the point where they would be an issue.
- Offer technical support to staff regarding the use of MS Office in general, and Word specifically, at a level where you can find solutions to new and unique problems you have never seen before and then train others.
- Think beyond what was requested to identify client needs and offer solutions they may not know they need.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office. Solid understanding of grammar and usage. Must be able to: work in an office setting, work on a computer for extended periods, operate an office copier, and stand for extended periods as necessary. Prior experience with firms engaged in professional services consulting for environmental, engineering, or related industries is preferred.

Summary:Teaching adaptive and functional skills to individuals with developmental disabilities to become active members of their community and in-home parent training to modify behaviors associated with a diagnosis of Autism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and healthy community environment for clients and community members.
- Teach the client adaptive and functional skills according to the goal domain areas focused on community integration.
- Implement the individualized support plans for clients with specialized support.
- Transport clients in personal automobiles (personal automobiles must meet the insurance qualifications and drivers must meet drivers’ license checks).
- Complete appropriate documentation of client’s progress.
- Submission of payroll, direct service logs, and reports in accordance to company policies. Must meet the 12 hours of training required for Total Programs specialists.
- Communication with supervisors, including replying to emails, and phone calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional behavior as outlined by company policies.
Requirements:Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have working technology (computer, cell phone, working email).

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for negotiating ancillary and health plan agreements on behalf of AHMC hospitals.
AHMC provides consulting services to seven acute care hospitals, AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center with 223 beds, Garfield Medical Center with 210 beds, Greater El Monte Community Hospital with 117 beds, Monterey Park Hospital with 101 beds, Parkview Community Hospital with 191 beds, San Gabriel Valley Medical Center with 273 beds, and Whittier Hospital Medical Center with 178 beds. The facilities are Medicare and Medi-Cal certified and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 18 months Managed Care Contracting experience preferred
