We are hiring for Project Controls Engineer
Purpose of the Job
This role is to provide Project Controls which includes schedule and cost controlling on projects. This role is for Project Controllers who are responsible for both planning and cost on projects
Responsibilities
• Builds ITO integrated schedules and cost estimates
• Supports PM to align project planning and budgets to as sold
• Builds OTR project schedule and project budgeting, gets them approved (baseline, Budget 0) and sets them up in schedule and cost tools
• Ensures compliance to the Global Standard process for Project Controls
• Maintains project schedule and cost forecast throughout project
• Analyses schedule and cost trends and provides forecasted schedule and CTC to project team. Ensures consistency between cost and schedule progress (EV vs phys. progress, CTC vs compl. date). Also, reviews scope/price variations, compares progress trends (actual vs baseline) and analyses productivity factors and paces, validates accuracy of estimates, raises BDRs and document them
• Maintains a register of potential schedule and cost risks
• Maintains a register of actual and committed costs
• Communicates schedule and cost status/forecasts/risk to functional cost owners for comments/adjustments and supports risk mitigation
• Provides internal and external project reporting of project status, promotes the usage of analytics capability and collaborative tools such as Tableau, Unifier
• Collaborates with 3rd parties on project schedule and cost • Attends project and management reviews to present all schedule and financial data in a transparent way
• Provides change order calculations to ensure schedule and cost estimates are accurate
• Updates changes in appropriate systems to ensure schedule and costs are aligned to the current situation
• Aligns with Finance Controller to ensure reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books
• Supports project close out and claims
• Supports tenders
• Works closely with all Department Managers and Projects Team

Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Requirements Engineering degree (financial / cost estimate training is a plus). Preferably as Civil, alternatively as electrical.
Experience and Knowledge 3+ years in turnkey projects, if possible, on Grid business 2+ years as project controls engineer, providing schedule and/or cost controls on turnkey projects
Technical skills / competencies:
• Planning and Scheduling in P6 is a must
• Cost estimating and forecasting
• Data handling skills (Excel, SAP…)
• Commercial awareness
• Local GAAP and basic accounting awareness is a +
Behavioral skills / competencies:
• Team spirit
• Communication (English language a must)
• Proactive attitude, solution driven
• Thorough and precise
• Analytical and organized.
